Refund Policy

How billing works

Rumpelstiltskin AI sells credits in one-time packs. There are no subscriptions and no recurring charges. A Standard (480p) video costs 50 credits and an HD (720p) video costs 100 credits. Credits never expire. There is no free trial and no signup grant: every render is paid for with credits from a one-time pack.

Failed generations are not charged

Credits are reserved when a generation task is accepted.

• If the task does not produce a video for any reason - technical failure (system error, provider outage, cancellation, timeout), or a refusal by the provider's content-safety or copyright policy - the reserved credits are returned to your balance automatically. You can see the refund in your credit history.
• You are only charged for renders that complete successfully.

If your photos were refused by the provider's safety check, nothing was charged: try again with different photos, or contact us if you believe the refusal was wrong.

Tasks rejected by provider policy

Generative video providers run their own content-safety and copyright checks. Some of them bill for that safety processing even when a request is refused - ours does not, and we do not pass any such charge on to you. A refused task produces no video, so it costs you nothing and your credits stay in your balance.

Please still make sure your source photos follow our Terms of Service and that you have the consent of everyone in them: repeated submissions of content that is clearly prohibited may lead to account restrictions.

Purchases

Credit packs are non-refundable once you have spent credits on generation, except where mandated by applicable consumer-protection law. If you have not generated anything with a pack and believe you purchased it by mistake, contact us and we will review the case.

Note that a render that completes successfully but does not match your expectations is not a failed generation: generative video is variable by nature. A Standard (480p) render costs half of an HD one, so it is the cheaper way to check a photo pairing before spending on HD.
